First, you need to get to Buenaventura, and from Cali you have several options.
You can take a bus from the main bus terminal or from La Portada. If you prefer something easier, we can also arrange a pickup service directly from your hotel or home. Just contact Fabio and you're all set! 📲

Once you arrive in Buenaventura, take a motorbike taxi to the tourist pier and buy your ticket to Juanchaco. We recommend doing it with the company JUANCHACO VIP so your trip goes smoothly. 🚤

Remember to arrive at the pier at least one hour early so you don’t miss the boat. The schedules are:
Buenaventura → Juanchaco: 10:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM
Juanchaco → Buenaventura: 8:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM
Once you arrive in Juanchaco, go to the motorbike taxi station (it’s only about 5 minutes away) and take a motorbike that will bring you to the entrance of Melo Hostel.
Once you arrive there, you’ll just need to walk about 200 meters to reach Melo. 🏝️
Travel Tips:
- Remember that there are no ATMs in the area. We only accept cash or Bancolombia transfers.
- If you pay by card, there is an additional 6% fee. 💳
